WWII 30-06 M2 Armor Piercing Box from Saint Louis Ordnance Plant. Box has top paper seal open but is in very good condition with all original rounds present. Box appear to be arsenal rebox since plain brown paper labeled boxs are not generaly seen on WWII ammo so these are pretty uncommon. Pics show box available. Rounds inside are all original and in great shape as seen in pic. All rds headstamped "SL 4." and are WWII Wartime 40's production. FYI for those who wondered, the dropping of the second digit on headstamp year was done during WWII and also during the Korean War to mask actual production year, interesting bit of history on ammo. Ammo is Corrosive primed. Only box pictured available.
