Canadian Frag Vest Body Armor Pre Cadpat

Canadian military issue fragmentation vest, body armor. Size is medium. I found this in the balkans back in the mid 90's. I thought it was French, but it's actually Canadian. Been told it's pre Cadpat? Not sure what that means. Condition is very good as seen in pics. Only one available.
