M1 Garand WWII Barrel Aug 1942 "S-A-8-42"
Product Description
Original Springfield WWII Garand Barrel, dated August 1942. Barrel has the upside down "S-A-8-42" marking on side and does NOT have chrome on gas port, looks to have been thru arsenal refinish. Muzzel guages "3+ ", Throat erosion measures "7.5" with a clean bore with minor pitting. No import marks, barrel came off a collection rifle. Perfect for that early restoration but not for regular shooting. Early barrels are extremely hard to find in decent condition.
