M1 Garand Bayonet U C w/Scabbard 10" WWII 1942 MODIFIED

Excellent Original condition Utica Cutlery "U C" M1905 M1 Garand Bayonet complete with "US" marked Scabbard. Blade has US and Ordnance flaming cannonball, 1942 dated and excellent parc finish with no serial numbers on guard. This was originally a M1905 16" bayonet that was cut down to 10" as many of the longer original bayonets were modified this way in WWII when the 10" bayonet became standard length. You can tell these modified bayonets by the blood groove which extends to the tip.
